What you need to know about the Flashback trojan

According to a Russian antivirus vendor some strong evidence are found that more than 500,000 Macs have been infected by the latest type of malware known as Flashback trojan. Mikko Hypponen, Chief Researcher at F-Secure twitted about this infection, from approximately 45 million Macs system more than 1% system is impure by this malware.
What is Flashback and How to get rid of this?

It is actually a malevolent software application uncovered in the September, this malware tries to enters into PC by installing itself using an Adobe Flash installer. According to an Antivirus vendor Intego, this malware code is written by the similar group which created the MacDefender attack last year.

This enters into system when user visits any hacked or malevolent or reluctantly infected website, these types of sites are actually hosted by Flashback, once user visit malicious site then a special program tries to show a specially designed Java applet and if your system has a vulnerable version of Java and java is enable in your browser then the malicious code will contaminate your system by installing series of malicious codes automatically. Once your system get infected with this infection then it open a Software Update window and ask you to enter administrative password, remove it immediately because after some time it will insert itself more deeply into your Mac.
